SOLD A fantastic dress with the most exquisite, border print pure silk crepe in the most beautiful color combination----dusty violet/mauve, deep rose, pink, and touches of gold. Anyone who has owned/worn vintage Carole Little designs, knows that she always chose the most unusual, gorgeous fabrics for her creations and this is no exception---it's truly one of the most gorgeous silk prints I've ever seen. This dress is like new, never worn. It features an ingenious use of the border print on the dolman-sleeved, collared, button front bodice; then the skirt which again features the gorgeous border print along the bottom section. The sumptuous silk fabric is truly one of a kind! From Carole Little for St Tropez West, this is probably from the 1980's, possibly 90's.

Measurements of this wonderful dress are as follows:
Bust: The bodice has dolman style sleeves so it is loose in the bust area (impossible to measure) and narrowing down to wrist length. I wouldn't recommend a bust measurement larger than 37-38"; the ideal would be 34-36".
Waist: elastic stretches from 24" to 34"
Hip: Suitable for no larger than a 38" hip.
Skirt length from waist is approx. 29", circumference at the hem is 40".
Length is 45" from shoulder to hem. Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and a modern size 6/8 (36"-26"-36") and it fits perfectly on that size. I believe this could fit from a modern size 6 up to an 8 (but check measurements to be sure!), definitely no larger than that.
Condition: Perfect, no stains, spots or rips/holes, clean, no staining or underarm discoloration, I cannot find any issues. Beautiful and looks never worn. Labels intact, "Carole Little for St Tropez West, All Silk" and a size 8 tag. Elastic at waist is in perfect shape and firmly stretchy.
