I love antique and vintage clothing and have collected it for years, as well as having a longtime design career including doing costume & restoration work for major movie studios and museums....I've translated that love to my own contemporary creations as well as now offering some choice pieces of my extremely large collection of vintage and antique beauties!
Marked a vintage size 10, measurements are as follows:
Bust max: up to about 37", definitely no larger than that. (Though the outer layer is quite a bit looser, this is the measurement of the silk crepe inner bodice layer)
Waist: stretches from 26"-34"
Hip: open, skirt is very full, flowy and dips
Skirt length from waist is approx. 32" at the sides, dips a few inches lower in the middle front and back.
Length is 47-49" from shoulder to hem; this fits and drapes SO beautifully. Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and is 36-26-36; it fits the mannequin quite well.
Inner bodice of silk crepe as well as attached silk crepe underskirt.
Condition: Excellent condition and clean, no spots, stains, rips, holes or damages that I can see other than evidence of being worn on the underarm area of the inner crepe slip (NOT on the outer silk chiffon layer) which will probably come out with cleaning. Otherwise the outer chiffon fabric of the dress looks never-worn, is still quite crisp and original looking, has never been washed or cleaned; Labels are intact, designer's "The Silk Farm Designed by Icinoo" label, plus marked a (vintage) size 10. No sash or belt but has side loops for one.
