This one is just fabulous with its gorgeous print of deep blue, purple and fuschia pink flowers accented with black trim and sleeve insets, as well as a super long, wonderful matching scarf of the silk print trimmed in black that you can wear as a sash, or even as a very bohemian head wrap! This also has Diane Freis' signature exquisite glass beadwork and shimmering sequins decorating the floral design, all over the front of the bodice. Multi-row stretchy elastic shirring at the waist/hip line means you can wear this either longer or shorter depending on where you position the shirring---it's meant to accent a slim waist and hips. Measurements of this beautiful dress are as follows: Bust max: up to about 37"
Elastic waist stretches from 22" to 30"
Hip: about 37"-38" at the max, free, flared skirt below that is very very full
Skirt length from the top of the elastic waist is approx. 28", keep in mind this may fall shorter on longer depending on the size of one's hips and whether the wide elastic shirring is worn higher or lower on the body.
Length is 47" from shoulder to the longest point of the curved panels; this fits and drapes SO beautifully! Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and a modern size 6-8 which it fits perfectly, I don't recommend any larger than that. Condition: Elastic waist is in great shape, I can't find a flaw on the dress; perfect and clean. Beadwork and sequins are all present and sparkly. Just gorgeous! Label intact, "Diane Freis Original" and 100% Pure Silk, both body and lining. No size tag but I'd say it's best for a small. Good for a petite person too. The matching scarf/sash is huge and gorgeous as well!
