SOLD Fabulous and exquisitely detailed Limoges France antique china four piece tea quartet consisting of a cup & saucer set, matching small dessert plate, and coordinating large luncheon plate with gorgeous intricate green and lilac floral designs with hand painted touches--I put this together as a quartet as the pieces harmonize so beautifully and are all French Limoges. The largest plate alone, which was made in Limoges France by J. Pouyat especially for the prestigious San Francisco jeweler Shreve & Co, is simply gorgeous and would look fabulous displayed on its own if not using as part of the trio! Limoges is well known for its beautiful, creamy quality of porcelain and for its delicate, intricate and lavish floral detail. All pieces are in excellent condition.

Saucer: 4 3/4" wide

Excellent condition on this, no wear, chips, cracks, crazing or any other damages on this beautiful four piece set, very nice "ping" sound on the cup. The largest plate, which is just gorgeously unique in the intricacy and beauty of its design of lilacs framed by a green border overlaid with a gold filigree design, is marked J. P. L. France, and J. Pouyat Limoges as well as Shreve & Company, San Francisco. Shreve & Company, which was established in 1852, is still in existence as one of the oldest and most prestigious jewelers in the country, also dealing in fine silver and china. The cup, saucer and small dessert plate, which are very delicately and intricately decorated in green with pale orchid flowers, are all marked A & D Limoges France.
These, as with all my pieces, will be exceptionally well wrapped and packaged in the best shipping materials and sturdy, brand-new boxing---through years of purchasing fine china I know how important it is to package things carefully.
