SOLD VERY RARE and absolutely stunning antique English deep cobalt blue full size china tea set, with a very intricate filigree and fabulous raised overlay design of sterling silver, on both sides of all pieces. Silver overlay on china and porcelain was an extremely difficult process to do so it's quite rare to find a set like this in such perfect condition! (I have not polished the silver areas, will leave that to the new owner as they choose) This was challenging to photograph; the first three photos are the most accurate representation of color/design; it is a dark rich cobalt blue. This set is composed of a tea pot, covered sugar bowl, creamer, and a bonus small creamer which I am including because it matches the rest of the set perfectly. Breathtakingly beautiful! Because of the size and weight of this set, it will be shipped in two or more boxes for best and most secure transport (shipping price is for the entire shipment)

Measurements of this substantial and eye-catchingly gorgeous set:
Teapot: 5 1/2" tall by 8 1/2" from tip of spout to handle
Creamer: 3 1/2" tall by 4" from spout to handle
Covered sugar: 4" tall by 5 1/2" handle to handle
Small creamer: 2 1/2" tall by 3 1/2" spout to handle
Condition as follows: All pieces in excellent antique condition, no chips, cracks, crazing or other issues. The silver areas have darkening, I did not attempt to polish them and will leave that up to the new owner. All pieces have intricate design on BOTH sides. Marked only with "ENGLAND" impressed on the bottom (see photo) the pottery mold style and silver overlay design indicate the manufacturer was most likely Gibsons.
This set, as with all my pieces, will be exceptionally well wrapped and packaged in the best shipping materials and sturdy boxing---through years of purchasing fine china I know how important it is to package things carefully. Please note that if there is breakage caused in shipping, refunds WILL be given when buyer provides me with photographs of the damage immediately upon receipt of the damaged goods----not several days, or weeks, or months after receipt----since these are vintage items there will be no refunds for other reasons, as I take great care to describe items/issues meticulously and thoroughly; and because they are VINTAGE items with the inherent age qualities of vintage items, I do not guarantee or claim that they are new and as-flawless-as new.
