SOLD Very beautiful, unusual, rare, highly collectible antique French Comte D'Artois Limoges hand painted covered dish/bowl--has six small vent holes on the lid so I assume it is for something such as muffins or vegetables (keeps warm while allowing steam to escape) a gorgeous piece for a Limoges collection! I can picture this used with an elegant tea service, to keep muffins or biscuits warm ....Soft green with the most gorgeous hand painted pink, yellow and white roses all around it; beautiful, highly detailed and glimmering with lots of glowing hand applied raised gold in pristine shape. Excellent condition, looks to have been rarely used if at all!

8" wide from handle to handle. About 5" tall to the top of the lid handle; lid is 6" across and has six vent holes.
Condition as follows (See closeup photos): Very fine, excellent antique condition, no cracks, chips, or crazing; gold is all present and gleaming, beautifully painted!
Marked on the back: Limoges France and Comte D'Artois Limoges France with a crown.
