SOLD RARE three piece, absolutely exquisite pink and green vintage Shelley china tea trio consisting of a cup & saucer set and coordinating luncheon plate, in the delightful "Maytime" apple blossoms pattern that is so highly collectible and desirable....very hard to find a complete 3 piece trio as one usually only sees the cup and saucer set alone. The cup is pale green inside, and the plate has a ring of light green around the inside, as shown.

Cup: 2 1/2" tall by 3 1/2" diameter across the top
Saucer: 5 1/2" wide
Plate: 7 1/2"
Excellent condition on this, has scalloped edges, all pieces have bright and intact colors, no wear, no cracks. Beautiful "ping" sound on the cup, which has one very, very tiny nick in the glaze on the top edge; this can barely be seen with the naked eye but I felt it when I ran my finger around the top edge (It is near one of the "dips" in the scalloped edge, please see closeup pic) I really feel this is just a glaze pop or a nick in the glaze, and not a substantial chip; please make your own judgement. NO crack emanating from it, and as stated, the cup has a wonderful, sound "ping" to it so I do not consider this any type of damage issue. Plate is marked Shelley England, "Maytime", with Ideal China and a hand painted artist notation in red. Cup and saucer marked Shelley Fine Bone China England, and "Maytime".
These, as with all my pieces, will be exceptionally well wrapped and packaged in the best shipping materials and sturdy, brand-new boxing---through years of purchasing fine china I know how important it is to package things carefully.
