SOLD Exquisite Bohemian 100% silk rich royal blue with pink and white florals super-floaty, flowing, superb glimmery late 70's-early 80's dress, this beauty is just lovely with its exquisite print on satin-striped silk chiffon intermingled with metallic golden threads. Icinoo/The Silk Farm dresses were sold in only the top high-end stores back in the day, and famous for their exquisite designs and colors; this one is also tagged "Joseph Magnin" in addition to the Silk Farm tag. Such a timeless, beautiful and wearable style, with floaty batwing sleeves caught at the one button cuffs (these are open all the way down the arm to the wrist) and a multi paneled layered skirt. Fully lined in royal blue silk crepe. Silk Farm dresses are highly sought after by vintage clothing collectors because of the high quality of the silk fabric and wonderful flowing designs; this is a prime example and in very good vintage condition! Dress has no size tag so please doublecheck measurements!
Bust (of the crepe underbodice): 36" MAX--would suggest smaller than that as it fits my mannequin very snugly.
Waist: elevated waist measures 28". Length of skirt from waist to hem is approx. 33"; this one would do well for a petite person.
Length is 42" from shoulder to hem
Mannequin is approx. 5' 6" and a modern size 6/8 (36-26-36); because the inner dress is very snug on the mannequin, I think this would look best on up to about a 6, modern sizing.
Condition: Very good vintage condition, I don't see any flaws, bright and clean, no spots, stains, rips or snags. Light wrinkling on the inside crepe that does need some professional ironing. Label is intact "The Silk Farm Designed by Icinoo" label, with a "Joseph Magnin" tag on top of that.
